Champion Eligibility
Champions must be nonpartisan.
Requirements
Event should:
- Be fatherhood-focused and target primarily an audience of practitioners, policymakers, advocates, and community stakeholders who serve fathers and families
- Be free to attend
- Take place in a venue that is ADA-compliant
- Use the Focusing the Fatherhood FLAME Community Conversations brand and adhere to the Community Conversations branding guide
- Display the disclaimer on major event materials such as printed programs and presentation slides:
The views expressed in written training materials, publications, or presentations by speakers and moderators do not necessarily reflect the official policies of the department of Health and Human Services; nor does mention of tradenames, commercial practices, or organizations imply endorsement by the U.S. Government.
In addition, Champions must not:
- Engage in inherently religious activities, such as worship, religious instruction, or proselytization, as part of the Community Conversations
- Discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, or sex
